Wix Website

During the Spring semester of my Sophomore year (Spring 2015), I was required to use Wix.com to create a website of my choosing. I decided to create a pirate-themed website that gave brief historical information about pirates, their history, the ships they sailed, and the weapons and gear they used. While most of the images were edited using features Wix came with, some graphics were made with outside programs (the flag banner was made in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop was used to get rid of the white backgrounds for the gear and vessel images on their respective pages).

 

HTML/CSS Website

During my Fall 2014 semester, I was required to work with a partner create a website from scratch using only HTML and CSS. The site centers around the Super Smash Bros. series of video games and was made in anticipation for the release Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS (or simply Super Smash Bros. 4) later that year. Each page is dedicated to each main series Smash game, with a home page/central hub that showed each series and character featured in the series, a contact page, and one page for Project M, a fan-made modification of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The site also has links to outside sources (e.g., wikis, video game news sites, outside images), embedded YouTube videos, and embedded music players with music from each of the games, which will only play if the visitor wants to listen.
